Do I need an appointment?

Yes, we operate on an appointment only basis to ensure adequate time and service provision can be provided to all clients equally.

How long is my appointment?

All initial appointments for new clients and new injuries are a minimum of 45 minutes. All follow up appointments are a minimum of 30 minutes.

What should I wear?

Try to wear comfortable clothing. We can provide a hospital gown, towel and shorts for modesty as required.

Do I need a referral?

No, not unless your problem is to be covered by

  • Workers Compensation,

  • CTP,

  • DVA or

  • Medicare.

When do I need to pay for my treatment?

Payment is required at the time of treatment.

 

We have HICAPs available for immediate claims of any health fund rebate. 

Payment can be made by cash or card/EFTPOS.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

  • Private health fund card (if applicable)

  • Any medical documentation relevant to injury (x-rays, medical reports etc)

  • Medication list if appropriate

  • Referral (if applicable)

  • Worker's Compensation Claim details: Insurance Company Details and Claim Number (if applicable)

What if I am running late?

If you know you will be late, please call or text us on

0456 749 746.

 

We operate on an appointment only basis, often with clients booked immediately after you. If you are going to be more than 10min late, we may have to ask you to reschedule your appointment. 

What if I need to cancel or miss my appointment?

We understand that life is busy and people need to move or cancel their appointments, sometimes at short notice. We appreciate your courtesy in providing as much notice as possible so we can offer the vacant appointment to someone else in need.

Can I claim Physiotherapy through my Health Fund?

Yes.

If you are covered for extras services with your health fund, we can claim the rebate on the spot for you. Just bring along your health fund card.

Is Physiotherapy covered by Medicare?

Medicare will refund $55.10 for up to 5 services per calendar year under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) initiative. You need to speak to your GP to find out if you qualify.

What does it cost to attend an appointment?

Appointment costs vary depending on the length of the appointment required.

Do you offer aged or disability pension discounts?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount to pension card holders. Just bring your card along to your appointment.
